Athelos

Competitive cheer

The record of an athlete’s seasons should belong to the family who lived them.

Athelos gives gyms the tools to run their athletes, teams and competitions — and gives families a record of it that is theirs, not the gym’s. We are not gym billing software, and we do not replace it.

Made by Dogwood Ventures LLC, for the gyms and families of competitive cheer.

What makes it different

Three things most of this category does not do.

Everything below is enforced in the product today, not planned.

The record travels with the athlete

A skill logged today is captured as a snapshot the family keeps. It survives the gym editing its own records, and it survives leaving the gym entirely. Guardians can export the whole record for themselves at any time.

More than one person tells the story

A season is not one account of what happened. The gym records what it sees, each guardian keeps their own layer that no other adult can read, and an athlete old enough to have their own login writes their own entries. All three coexist.

You choose what the gym sees

Every skill entry carries its own visibility, chosen when it is written. The rule that keeps a private entry private is a row-level policy in the database, applied to the query itself — not a setting the application promises to respect.

What you get

Everything here, working today. And we’re not finished.

Every one of these is live for gyms and families right now — and the list keeps growing.

Skills

Track progress from first attempt through to competition ready, with a visibility posture on every entry.

Goals and milestones

Season goals per athlete, and a timestamped timeline of the moments worth keeping.

Competitions

Events, scores, placements and divisions, attributed to the roster that competed.

Calendar

Practices, competitions and personal events — subscribable from the calendar app on your phone, so it stays current on its own.

Gallery

Photos kept against the athlete. Location data is stripped from every image before it is stored.

Messaging

Guardians and their gym, in one place, so a question does not become a group text.

Digital yearbook

A season compiled into a keepsake edition, frozen at purchase so a re-download always gives you the same book.

Rosters and teams

Athletes, teams and season rosters — the structure everything else hangs off.

One gym, or more than one

An athlete who trains at more than one gym is a normal case, not a workaround.

Pricing

What it costs.

Gyms pay. Families do not have to.

For gyms

Pay annually and get 1 month free

Every gym starts with 30 days of Elite. The clock starts when the gym is created, and for those 30days you have the whole product — every feature on the highest plan. Then you choose the plan you want. Buying one early does not end the trial early: you keep everything until the 30 days are up, then settle onto what you bought.

Getting started

The product lives at app.athelos.net.

Gym owners create the gym and invite their families. Parents, athletes and followers join from an invitation and pay nothing.
