What gets deleted
Closing your Athelos account deletes your login and the family record you built: skills, goals, competition results, milestones, notes, photos and yearbooks that belong to your side of the account.
If your athlete has another guardian on Athelos, their side of the record and the athlete’s own record are not affected. Only your layer is removed.
If you are the only guardian, there is nobody left the record belongs to, so the athlete’s entire keepsake is deleted with your account. That is deliberate — the law does not let us keep a child’s record on the chance someone comes back for it.
We keep order and payment records for 7 years because tax law requires it. What we keep is the transaction only — order number, date, amount and purchaser — never your athlete’s record, photos or personal details.

How to request it
- On this page — sign in and use the button below.
- In the app — open Privacy & Data from the menu, then Delete my account.
- By email — write to support@athelos.net from the address on the account. We respond within 30 days.
Every route sends a confirmation email first. Nothing is deleted until you click the link in that email.
Where this stands today
Submitting the form below records your request and sends you a confirmation email. It does not delete anything on its own. Removal is completed by our team within the timeframes in the privacy policy, and we email you when it is done. We would rather tell you that plainly than show you a page that claims your data is already gone.
